I was at Bedlam Paintball today, I was impressed by the quality of the Game zones but was disappointed by the amount of game time you get on them, the basic marker we used was called the "Tippmann 98 custom marker", we also got a jumpsuit to protect your clothing and a JT full-head protective mask. You could get a gun upgrade for £15 (the whole day) or £5 (for one match) I really don't think it is worth getting the £5 deal because you only get 8 minutes of game time(I will put a kit list of what you get at the end), they give you 150 Paintballs at the start(gone very fast). On the first game they took us into the forest and explained the rules (for those of you guys that don't know the rules they are very straight forward; head shots don't count as a hit, when the referee blows his whistle for the second time put your marker on safety and remove your hopper...etc). We were playing on "The Tower" first and we were the attacking team (red). The objective was to place a 'fake' bomb under the fort without getting hit more than twice, which was very hard to do in 8 minutes especially when you get 2 lives in the first half and only a single life in the second. We all payed £48 and to be honest i really don't think it was worth it, after each game we had a very long brake to make the games seem longer. If you live in the Aberdeen/Aberdeenshire area i think you would be better going to "BattleGrounds" in Aberdeen, much better quality and much better prices. There are 7 Game zones at Edzill we got to play 5 each for 8 minutes and we were there for 4 hours giving you a rough idea of how long the brakes were.
In conclusion i think that Bedlam Paintball is a waist of money and a rip-off.
